Rapid Leech is a free server transfer script for use on various popular upload/download sites such as megaupload.com - The script transfers files from rapid share (for example) via your fast servers connection speed and dumps the file on your server.

The script was originally created by Vyrus who wrote the script in russian. The script then got modified by various people who then released copies, encrypted the source code and made so-called improvements.

Finding rapidleech

Google "rapidleech" and you'll find tons of servers with the rapidleech script on it.

Functions

First of all, it downloads the file to a server, making it possible for u to make a direct link for the file! There are a few issues though: this will download files from RS and MU as a "free user" meaning the bandwith to download per day is practically 0. I've experienced this script works very good with Megaupload though. Open a MU link, enter the captcha and wait for the counter to finish. Then right click the download button and copy the link location, afterwards paste it in the rapidleech download box and download. If Rapidleech indicates the link can't be downloaded, google Rapidleech again and find another server ;)

Secondly, it supports splitting of large files: this can come in handy of you just downloaded a 150MB megaupload file and want to remote it to your RS premium account. Remember, the maximum filesize for RS uploads is 100MB, so split your uploaded file in max 100MB parts.

After splitting you can copy the link location and copy the files to your deisred filehosting service!

I advise you to experiment a little with Rapidleech, not all filehosts are supported but it works fine with some of them. Also don't hesitate to remote normal direct links, rename them, split them and upload them to MU or RS!

Remoting from RS.com to RS.com

What do you need?

° A rapidshare.com premium account
° A rapidshare link that you want to remote to your own account

How do you do it?

First thing you do is make a normal RS link into a premium link, for that you need a program called Rapidassist :

Download Rapidassist

Insert the link in the small app and convert it! You need to insert your premium account login details in the option menu though, else the program will give an error.

For example you've got this link:
http://rapidshare.com/files/34873901/voorbeeld.txt

It gets converted to a link like this:
http://rs44.rapidshare.com/files/34873901/voorbeeld.txt

RS doesn't allow remoting from its own servers, so you need to adjust the link a little.

1. Add your premium user login and password to the link as you would do with an FTP link for example.
2. You've got to add another port to the link (I don't know how this exactly works, but it does ;) )

Your link has to look like this eventually

Go to your premium zone, remote uploads and upload the link ;)

If you easily want to add the username and the pass to multiple premium links, you might consider using notepad for this!

for example:

If you've got 10 premium links, copy/paste them in an empty notepad document

press:

ctrl+h

type:

==>> replace all

u can use the same method for the second part of the link (the :80 port)

Remote uploading means that a file gets downloaded by one server and gets uploaded back to another server, without 1 single mb being downloaded to your PC.

There are a lot more, but those are the most important.

If you want to find some services which support remote uploading, try googling "url upload".

The problem with this is, the links that are remoted need to be so-called "direct download links" meaning the download immedeately starts after clicking the link.
Most filehosting services won't provide you with DDLs (definately not if you're a free user). So remoting from 1 filehosting service to another isn't obvious.

Some sites will remote uploads for u to different servers automatically.

Types of DDLs

There are a few types of DDLs:

You just find a regular http server with files stored on it, and you copy the complete path to the file, this would look like: http://servername.net/filename.zip
A ftp link, if the ftp server requires a login & password you should edit your link like this: ftp://username:pass@servername.net/filename.zip
Last but not least: creating a DDL using files you uploaded on a filehosting service server. Most likely you will need to enter a captcha (the number in a picture for instance) and you'll have to wait a certain amount of time. If you have a premium account, you should copy the premium link and edit it in the way like the ftp link. I'll go more into detail on some single filehosting services later.
